Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles on the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began in his early college days. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active on both television and films it is his characters on the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large fans. The actor is able to portray characters of both good and bad aspects of the legal system. He can capture the audiences attention easily. His first project was a television serial, however, he was later an officer for the NYPD. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which are said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to play the rough characters in an enthralling manner. He was featured in 2006 when he was featured on People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
